The immediate family will be attending the crematorium after the funeral service and will return for the funeral reception which will be held at St Thomas’ Church. We will be raising a glass to Anne and hope you will do so with us.
We have also reserved an area at The Grove, Balham after the funeral reception for those who want to come. The Grove is a 20-minute walk from the church or a 5-minute drive.
Please use the button below (or email rebeccahalexander@hotmail.com) to RSVP by 1st February 2025 so we can cater appropriately.

On Mother's Day 2021, Sam recorded a rap for Anne which she found utterly hilarious. Sam was the person that made her laugh the most on this planet.
We have been taking great comfort in listening to it on repeat and we intend to play the song at the funeral. We'd encourage as many people as possible to listen to the song beforehand and sing along on the day.
Anne always wanted to be a mother
That’s why she took Chris as her lover
Then the two beasts came along
She wished she’d never written this song
This is the story of a girl called Anne
Barely a woman and she’s pushing a pram
First child’s Becky, the second is Sam
And her husband Chris never gave a damn
Little Sam was the sweetest kid
Until into his teenage years he slid
Everyone agreed that he was a genius
And very, very handsome too
Her other daughter was a wicked child
Always running around and acting wild
Pushing little Sam over and stealing his toys
Filling his days with a cold cold void
But despite all this Anne loved them
Even though she could never quite trust em
Well when they got older, things got worse
All that sweetness, became the inverse
When they snuck out and stayed out late
She’d be waiting at home getting irate
Poor Sam was a tortured genius
And Anne had a reputation for meanness
Becky was a royal princess
And Chris Christopherson well he was the best
Anne always wanted to be a mother
That’s why she took Chris as her Lover
But when the two beasts came along
she wish she’d never written this song
She’s the greatest mother, the greatest mother
You could never give the award to another
Cos Anne is a legend, a legend that walks
Even though her methods are unorthodox
She’s the greatest mother, the greatest mother
You could never give the award to another
So happy mother’s day to the double A queen
Thanks for giving me amazing genes.
